Darlings, hold onto your glow sticks because Melbourne's underground queer dance scene just got even more fabulous! CONFIDE, the party that's been serving us pure electronic realness for five years, is taking things to the next level with the launch of their very own record label.
A New Chapter in Queer Dance Music
CONFIDE Records is kicking off their journey with an absolute banger - Simonetti's 'Wanna Be Free' EP. This three-track masterpiece is everything we live for: raw, euphoric, and dripping with '90s house and trance influences that'll have you living your best acid house fantasy.
The EP Breakdown
Let's spill the tea on these tracks:
- 'Wanna Be Free' - A love letter to UK acid house, serving Detroit-inspired stabs and piano riffs that'll have you gagging
- 'Off to the Rave' - Trance-infused euphoria that'll lift you higher than your platform boots
- 'Inspiration' - A cheeky nod to Madonna's 'Into the Groove' with Italo dream house realness
The entire EP has been crafted with additional production magic from BADEO, mastered by Joseph Buchan, and wrapped in gorgeous artwork by Jesse DM. It's giving us everything we need for those peak-time moments when the dance floor is heaving with sweaty, joyful bodies.
